The flat steel warehouse RFS has been developed based on requirements from the steel construction and steel trade market and is ideally suited for managing your flat profile stock. From the control console, orders can easily be given for automatic retrieval of the required flat profiles from the warehouse or for automatic loading of flat profiles into the warehouse. The profile warehouse is a robust frame with stacked drawers that can be opened and closed by means of a motor drive. The drawer arrangement is freely configurable so that the optimum arrangement per drawer can be set. A crane is integrated for automatic collection and loading of the strips/profiles. This crane will be equipped with a 5 meter lifting device with electromagnets underneath. These electromagnets are controlled from the computer system and switched stronger or weaker depending on the weight. So only one profile can be picked up at a time. This also applies when loading. There is always the possibility to load by hand and then update the program with the newly inserted profiles.
