The gripper truck is equipped with a double gripper system. The advantage of the double gripper is that you do not need an extra long roller conveyor. On a roller conveyor of, say, 16 meters, you can produce a commercial length of 15 meters. The short gripper starts producing the 15-meter length and when there is enough room to change, the short gripper switches to the long gripper. This is all fully automatic. The gripper can move in height so that most common profiles can be grabbed. In case a profile cannot be grabbed, for example flat material, it starts working as a push-up system.
